Winter Wandering

Flying’s pretty wild huh?

You can literally be anywhere on the planet in a day 🤣

Just a quick public service announcement in case you’re bored, lonely, feel like you need an adventure / reset, etc.

Was thinking about all the cities and countries I flew over from NYC to Singapore...

So many different ways of thinking, acting, customs and laws, climates, conflicts, industries…every hour a new one passes by for nearly 20 hours. Humans are cool and crazy, incredible and terrible…

And you can experience it all by hopping in a tin can 40,000ft in the air for the price of a dinner and drinks (in ‘merica). Soo stop stalling and get out there in 2026!

Here’s what I got up to in December…

Mexico

Biblioteca Vasconcelos

After a month exploring new parts of Mexico, returning to CDMX felt like coming home. It was the perfect familiar base to finally slow down, catch up on work, and dive deeper into the city's endless food scene. I made time for a few spots I'd didn’t have time to see last year, including the mesmerizing Biblioteca Vasconcelos. It's not just a library - it's an architectural masterpiece. Super beautiful.

And of course no stop in CDMX is complete without a stop to Orinoco and El Moro. Touristy AF - but still amazing.

Disney

Grand Floridian

After the chaos and colors of Mexico, I jumped straight into what might be the fattest happiest place on earth: the one and only Walt Disney World.

My mom is a certified Disney groupie—in the absolute best way. She hits the parks 4+ times a year, throws in an annual Disney cruise, and binge-watches Disney vloggers nonstop (even while she's actually at Disney). She once casually dropped that I was likely conceived there (yeah, definite TMI 😆). Guess that explains why it's in my blood. As an adult, it doesn't hit with that same wide-eyed, pure-magic spell from childhood, but damn—it's still an insane testament to Walt Disney's wild vision and dreams made real. We could use more of that unapologetic imagination and creativity brought to life.

I also got to swing by Celebration, to visit my cousin and hang with my niece and nephew. It’s a super charming town: originally a Disney-planned company town that's evolved into a real community, with those picture-perfect streets, lakeside walks, and that subtle nostalgic vibe everywhere.

New Jersey

Finally, home sweet home. Yeah, it was freezing—snowed twice while I was there, turning everything into a proper winter wonderland—but nothing beats that rush of reconnecting with family and old friends. Shared meals, late-night laughs, catching up on a year's worth of life updates—it's that deep, unspoken bond we all crave, the kind that hits different no matter how much we've grown apart or shifted on views, interests, or whatever else.

P.S. Netflix bought a massive old Army base a couple miles from my parents' house, to turn it into a billion-dollar East Coast production hub. I swear to god, if those fucks try to ruin my quiet hometown vibes with traffic, crowds, and Hollywood chaos - that is the one thing that will get me to move back home and go full Yellowstone on their ass.

Singapore

Disney takeover of SIN

Not back in Florida just yet!

I routed through Singapore for a quick 24-hour stopover, perfectly timed to catch the madness of New Year's Eve. And dammmmn, Disney had completely taken over Changi Airport for the launch of their new cruise ship sailing out of Singapore.

Then NYE hit—fireworks lighting up the Singapore skyline, crowds buzzing with energy, champagne flowing... it was glooorious.

Best stopover ever.

Looking forward to more health, wealth, and happiness in 2026! 🥳
