Here's what's been going on...

What a wild month 😱 Forgot how a few flights can make the world feel small.

The last couple weeks I was in Bali started to get stressful - packing up the house for the owner to move back in for a couple months, getting settled with the dog, etc.

But if you travel often - you know that feeling once you get to the airport after spending a week+ organizing and preparing for a big trip - with just a bag on your shoulder - that I’m-deserving-of-an-airport-beer feeling :)

So it was off to Singapore for the day to enjoy the amenities of the 1st world before heading to the US 😜. I took a new route home that was pretty game-changing - the current longest flight in the world Singapore to Newark (19h).

It was still 1 stop (Bali to Singapore as opposed to Bali to Qatar/UAE), but idk Singapore doesn’t feel like a stop - feels familiar and home-y at this point. And the flight wasn’t bad - they only have business or premium economy so you’ve got enough space to chill - big plane but not a lot of people.

Once I got home - I immediately went into NJ Italian-American gavone mode…

Pizza, Pasta, Bagels, Sandwiches…

The first weekend I was back - the family took a quick trip out near Philadelphia for my cousins wedding - and it was a beautiful ceremony 😊

I couldn’t help but Google around the area and found out that the 2nd largest Hindu temple in the world was just completed nearby in western NJ…

After the wedding, I had a suuuuper chill week back home. And I needed it. After quiet beach life for a couple years, being thrown straight into catching up with your entire family for a couple days was a bit overwhelming.

But I still got a chance to visited the homies, got some health checkups, and planned my next month. I was originally going to go back to the old home in Costa Rica, but knowing the old magic there is gone, I was like fuck it - let’s go explore somewhere new and sooo…
