What's been going on...

  • Enjoyed some quiet time at home 🏝️🇮🇩

  • Flipped hemis and went up to the Catskills for my cousin’s wedding 🍁🇺🇸

  • Down to Mexico for Day of the Dead…again 💀🇲🇽

Enjoyin pumpkin season 🇸🇬🇮🇩🇺🇸🇲🇽

After a few days in Singapore for the F1 Grand Prix, I returned to Bali for a quick two-week stint. Mostly packed up the house, showered my dog with love, and caught up with friends.

Then, it was back to Singapore for the world’s longest flight to New York. From there, I headed to New Jersey for a one-night catch-up with friends before driving to the Catskills for my cousin’s wedding. The fall foliage made it an absolutely stunning backdrop.

On Monday morning, I flew straight to Mexico City to catch Día de Muertos. Instead of flying, I opted for an eight-hour bus ride to Oaxaca—usually a scenic journey, but this time, nationwide protests against the government led to blocked highways everywhere and turned into a 14+ hour journey. 😣 Whoops!

Last year, I visited during the same period, and it was mind-blowing. The main days—October 31, November 1, and 2—are incredible, but the entire week leading up to them is pure magic. Vibrant energy, fantastic food, amazing people, and nonstop music.

Work

Finally working normal human hours… damn, y’all have it on easy mode!

If you didn’t know, I’ve been working remotely abroad for over two years without telling my company. 😆 My usual shift starts at 9 PM and runs until about 2 AM—unless, once in a blue moon, my boss or some evil coworker schedules a late afternoon or evening meeting, and I question my life choices the following day. It’s been rough at times, and switching back to daylight hours feels like I’ve been running with a weighted vest on.

Honestly, if someone forced me to stay in one place and work normal hours, I’d probably start a multi-million-dollar company.
